On the morning of June 3, the Institute of Industrial Artificial Intelligence of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute") and Nanjing Estun Automation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Estun") officially signed an agreement on joint technological development for embodied AI robots. Key leaders from both sides attended the event, including Yu Haibin, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of the Institute, and Wu Bo, Chairman of Estun Automation. The two parties have formally established a comprehensive, in-depth collaborative partnership integrating research and industry, focusing on fields such as industrial artificial intelligence and embodied AI robots.
The Institute of Industrial Artificial Intelligence of the Chinese Academy of Sciences focuses on areas such as next-generation intelligent manufacturing system architectures and industrial AI infrastructure, serving as a source of original innovation in my country's industrial AI sector. Estun boasts a comprehensive product ecosystem that includes its proprietary iER.OS robot operating system and iER.Cloud AI industrial cloud platform, alongside industrial collaborative robots and embodied AI robots. Driven by a shared strategic vision, the two parties will establish a joint R&D mechanism targeting areas such as embodied AI for unstructured environments, intelligent welding and process AI agents, high-performance robot control and cloud-edge-end collaborative platforms, and edge-side AI chips and systems.
